Shop opening hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm - Saturday 8.30am - 4.00pm
The shop offers a wide range of items from the usual groceries, household, chilled and frozen goods to fresh and frozen meat from the North's finest butchers (Matheson & Macleod in Bonar Bridge), fresh fruit & veg.
Local smoked salmon from Kinloch and cheese from Highland Fine Cheeses are also avaliable. We have a good range of wines, beers and spirits including quite a few Malts on sale.
We also supply coal, wood, kindlers and peat briquettes. We also sell a good range of fishing tackle and also fishing permits are available at the shop.
A fish van calls at the shop on Wednesdays at 12.30 for anyone wanting fresh fish. Orders can be left at the shop.
We accept all major credit and debt cards also offering "cashback" on debit cards
Post Office:
The Post Office opens 9.00am - 5.00pm except Wednesday and Saturday when it closes at 1.00pm. It offers a full range of postal services, bill paying facility and mobile phone top ups.
A banking service is also offered where people can withdraw and deposit cash at the Post office. People who bank with The Co-operative, HBOS, A&L, Barclays and many more can use this facility. The cut off point for mail leaving the office is 12.15pm.
Delivery:
  Anyone arriving in Melness after closing time and requiring goods can order in advance and we will deliver for them.
